The brainchild of architecturally trained designer Rem D. Koolhaas, nephew and namesake of renowned architect Rem Koolhaas, the brand is driven by an unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of footwear design. Each product is a reinterpretation of an architectural object—an exploration of the possibilities offered by movement, color, and materials.
UNITED NUDE, which won the 2016 Wallpaper Design Award* for its LO RES CAR project, is a leader in the design field. The Lo Res design method is based on the principle of redesigning the same object in series, each time reducing the 3D resolution, resulting in a more fragmented and abstract design at each stage.
The brand's products are sold in over 50 countries worldwide, and the company collaborates on limited editions with renowned designers, from Zaha Hadid to Iris Van Herpen and Issey Miyake.
